The MXZ-NLHZ model adds hyper-heating INVERTER® performance to the MXZ-D multi-zone heat pumps. One hundred percent rated heating capacity is maintained even when the outside-air temperature drops to 5° F as incorporated key parts are resistant to cold of up to –13° F and the printed circuit board is coated on both sides to protect it in harsh environments. Base pan heaters are also built in to help prevent ice buildup in the unit.
